Bio and Publications

My name is Emily Koon, and I am a fiction writer from North Carolina, where I live with a supportive terrier called Minnie and two cats who would prefer not to be involved. I have work in or forthcoming in the publications below. I have completed a collection of mostly weird short stories entitled We Are Still Here that I am seeking a home for, and I am slowly working on a novel. Published excerpts from both books are below.
